Birth & Death Certificate क्या है और क्यों ज़रूरी है?

जन्म प्रमाण पत्र (Birth Certificate) और मृत्यु प्रमाण पत्र (Death Certificate) भारत में सबसे महत्वपूर्ण Legal Documents हैं जो Registration of Births and Deaths (RBD) Act, 1969 के अंतर्गत जारी किए जाते हैं। यह Documents Civil Registration System (CRS) के माध्यम से Government of India, Office of the Registrar General द्वारा Manage किए जाते हैं।

Birth Certificate का उपयोग School Admission, Passport, Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Age Proof, Visa Application और सरकारी योजनाओं में होता है। Death Certificate का उपयोग Property Transfer, Insurance Claim, Pension, Bank Account Closure और Legal Heir Certificate बनवाने में किया जाता है।

Birth Certificate Online Apply कैसे करें?

जन्म प्रमाण पत्र Online Apply करने के लिए नीचे दी गई Process Follow करें:

  1. Official Website dc.crsorgi.gov.in पर जाएं (हमेशा URL ध्यान से Check करें)
  2. “General Public” Section में “Sign Up” पर Click करें
  3. Mobile Number, Email ID और Password से Registration करें
  4. OTP Verification पूरा करें
  5. Login करने के बाद “Birth Registration” Form खोलें
  6. बच्चे का नाम, जन्म तारीख, जन्म स्थान (Hospital/Home) भरें
  7. माता-पिता की जानकारी (Aadhaar, Address) भरें
  8. आवश्यक Documents Upload करें
  9. Form Submit करें और Acknowledgement Number Save करें
ध्यान दें: Hospital में जन्म होने पर ज़्यादातर मामलों में Hospital Authority द्वारा ही Birth Registration किया जाता है। Home Delivery के मामले में माता-पिता को स्वयं Local Registrar (Municipal Corporation/Gram Panchayat) के पास जाकर Apply करना होता है।

Death Certificate Online Apply कैसे करें?

मृत्यु प्रमाण पत्र के लिए Process लगभग Birth Certificate जैसी ही है:

  1. CRS Portal पर Login करें या नया Account बनाएं
  2. “Death Registration” Form खोलें
  3. मृतक का नाम, मृत्यु तारीख, मृत्यु का स्थान और कारण भरें
  4. Medical Certificate (अगर Hospital में मृत्यु हुई हो) Upload करें
  5. Informant (सूचना देने वाले व्यक्ति) की जानकारी भरें
  6. Submit करें और Reference Number Note करें

Birth & Death Certificate में Correction कैसे करें?

अगर Birth या Death Certificate में नाम, जन्मतिथि या अन्य Spelling Mistakes हैं, तो CRS Portal पर “Correction Request” Option के ज़रिए Online Apply किया जा सकता है। Correction के लिए Supporting Documents जैसे Aadhaar Card, School Leaving Certificate या Passport ज़रूरी होते हैं। Local Registrar द्वारा Verification के बाद Corrected Certificate जारी होता है।

महत्वपूर्ण: जितनी जल्दी Registration कराएं उतना अच्छा है। 1 वर्ष से अधिक Delay होने पर Process लंबा और जटिल हो जाता है।

Fees और समय सीमा

21 दिन के भीतर Registration पूरी तरह Free होता है। Late Registration पर Rs. 5 से Rs. 50 तक की Nominal Fee लग सकती है, जो हर राज्य में अलग हो सकती है। Certificate जारी होने में सामान्यतः 7 से 15 कार्य दिवस लगते हैं।

Online Fraud से कैसे बचें?

Birth और Death Certificate के नाम पर Online Fraud की घटनाएं बढ़ रही हैं। नीचे दी गई सावधानियां ज़रूर बरतें:

  • हमेशा Address Bar में पूरा URL dc.crsorgi.gov.in ध्यान से पढ़ें
  • ऐसी किसी भी Website से बचें जिसमें crsorgi.gov.in के बाद कोई और शब्द/Domain जुड़ा हो
  • किसी भी Unofficial Website पर Aadhaar, Bank Details या OTP Share न करें
